Calendly Setup Guide
Set up Calendly to let customers book appointments on your website
Calendly is the easiest way to let customers book appointments. Free plan available. Syncs with Google Calendar, Outlook, and more. No back-and-forth emails needed.
Step 1: Create Your Calendly Account
1 Go to calendly.com
2 Click "Get Started" and sign up with Google or email
3 Choose the free plan to start (you can upgrade later)
Step 2: Connect Your Calendar
1 Connect your Google Calendar, Outlook, or iCloud calendar
2 This prevents double-bookings automatically
3 New appointments will appear on your calendar instantly
Step 3: Create Your Event Types
1 Click "Create" to add a new event type
2 Set the meeting details:
- Name: e.g., "30-Minute Consultation"
- Duration: How long each appointment lasts
- Location: In-person, phone, or video call
3 Set your availability (which days/times you're available)
4 Add buffer time between appointments if needed
Step 4: Customize Your Booking Page
1 Go to "Account Settings" > "Branding"
2 Upload your logo
3 Choose your brand color
4 Preview how it looks to customers
Step 5: Get Your Booking Link
1 Go to your event type and click "Share"
2 Copy your booking link (looks like: calendly.com/yourname/meeting)
3 Send this link to me and I'll add it to your website
