Set up Acuity Scheduling for powerful appointment booking

Why Acuity?
Acuity (by Squarespace) is perfect for service businesses. Accept payments at booking, send reminders, and sync with your calendar. Free 7-day trial, then starts at $16/month.

Step 1: Create Your Acuity Account

1 Go to acuityscheduling.com

2 Click "Start Free Trial"

3 Enter your email and create a password

4 Follow the setup wizard

Step 2: Set Up Your Business

1 Enter your business name and timezone

2 Connect your Google Calendar, Outlook, or iCloud

3 Set your working hours for each day

Step 3: Create Your Services

1 Go to "Appointment Types"

2 Click "New Type of Appointment"

3 Fill in the details:

Name: e.g., "Haircut", "Consultation", "Massage"
Duration: How long the service takes
Price: How much you charge (optional)
Description: What's included

4 Repeat for each service you offer

Step 4: Set Up Payments (Optional)

1 Go to "Payment Settings"

2 Connect Stripe or Square to accept payments

3 Choose to require full payment or deposits at booking

Step 5: Customize & Get Your Link

1 Go to "Customize Appearance" to add your logo and colors

2 Set up email reminders in "Email Settings"

3 Go to "Share Your Link" to get your booking URL

4 Send me this link and I'll add it to your website
